This could be any Seattle basement: Concrete walls, plumbing and wiring hanging down below the ceiling, intermittent water problems, and original wood windows that have seen better days. But this Ballard basement was slated for finishing following a dormer addition several years earlier. A new interior perimeter drain handles the water and there's a new bedroom, bathroom and laundry. A wet bar makes the new family/media room perfect for entertaining. Completed 2017.
