whole house remodel
It’s not every project where you find a root cellar hidden behind sheetrock and a structural hold-down attached to nothing, among other surprises. This pushed the scope of work to the entire main and upper floors after initial demolition, along with a good portion of the basement. The resulting remodel is a solid nod to the craftsman provenance of the house, melded with contemporary updates. The weird ‘70s-style windows upstairs are gone, along with an odd bay window at the entry. Completed 2022.
